A Hot Foil Coder is sometimes referred to as a Batch/Date Coder.
Lines of characters can be placed onto every label with the Hot Foil Coder Option. The Type is applied at the end of each label feed.
It is the most simple and cleanest way to put batch and expiry dates onto your products. Particularly when you are dealing with round or curved product , it makes a lot of sense to use one of these.
Direct printing onto round products often means you have to contend with messy inks and solvents while fighting to minimize text distortion on a curved surface passing a marking station.
The Hot Foil Coder is a remarkably low cost piece of equipment that take care of what was once considered a separate process in a production line.
